History - 1960-1969
Although the Club suffered a financial loss for 1960/61 a search began to find a new shooting range. In 1964 it was¨ proposed that, with the financial backing of members, an indoor range would be constructed and a search for a suitable site was initiated. The Constitution was also amended to apply for Charitable Status and the subsequent benefits.
In 1965, a site adjacent to T.S.Centaur was proposed for the new range and planning permission was granted in 1966. Life Membership status of the NSRA was applied for in 1966 and granted in 1967.
