Learn To Shoot In The West Midlands

During the first few months after induction in September, juniors receive a nationally set programme of basic training in the laws and disciplines of target shooting with air rifles. This concludes in early spring with a formal practical and theoretical examination. The National Small-Bore Rifle Association, which is our Governing Body, sets a fee of £10 for the course and, after confirmation of the Course Tutor's assessment, awards a Junior Proficiency certificate and badge appropriate to the level of skill achieved. Only after this qualification will they be allowed to fire live cartridges.

They may then advance into further disciplines and levels of competition according to their aptitude.
