Disciplines

Dudley Rifle Club caters to a wide variety of shooting disciplines, although not all of them are undertaken at our Range.

On-site we offer:

Smallbore Prone Target Rifle
Lightweight Sporting Rifle
Benchrest Rifle
Standing Air Target Rifle
10m Air Pistol

And some of the disciplines that can be enjoyed through the club at alternative venues are:

Smallbore Prone Target Rifle @ 50m / 100 Yards
Fullbore Prone Target Rifle

As a side note, to undertake Fullbore shooting on MOD grounds requires a Competency Certificate, we have the facilities and protocols in place to grant the application of these certificates.

In the past we have also catered for pistol shooters, from the mid 50's until of course 1997 when the horrific Dunblane massacre occurred.

However alot of people with reloading gear and knowledge in pistol calibres wanted to continue with thier calibres and the following disciplines were found as replacements.

These are disciplines that although we cannot do at our Clubhouse/Range, they can be undertaken at our affilliate clubs, especially at the Bisley "Phoenix Meeting" Annually in May.
